Our Story
Where ancient light
meets the hand that shapes it.
Ambre Lume was founded on a single belief: that genuine Baltic amber is not a souvenir material. It is one of the world’s oldest natural treasures — formed over forty million years, carried from the forest floor to the Baltic shore by glaciers, rivers and time.

The Material
Forty million years,
crystallised in light.
Baltic amber is fossilised resin from ancient coniferous forests. Over millions of years, it hardened, sank into peat bogs, and was eventually carried to the Baltic shores where it has been gathered by hand for thousands of years.
Unlike precious stones formed in the dark, amber was born in sunlight. Each stone holds that warmth — a glow from a world that no longer exists.

Craftsmanship
Made by hand.
Each stone chosen individually.
Every piece in the Ambre Lume collection is crafted by hand in our Baltic workshop. We select each amber stone individually — for its colour, clarity, inclusions and natural warmth.
No two pieces are identical. The natural variations in colour, texture and inclusions are not imperfections — they are the fingerprint of each stone’s individual journey.
Our Promise
What every piece comes with.
Every stone is genuine Baltic amber. No synthetic resins, no pressed fragments, no imitations.
Variations in colour, inclusions and surface texture are inherent to real amber. They are not defects.
Each piece is assembled by hand in our workshop. Metal components are carefully selected to complement the stone.
Every order arrives with care guidance. Amber is a natural material — we want your piece to last a lifetime.
Caring for Amber
Amber is a living material.
Treat it with warmth.
Unlike mineral gemstones, amber is organic — a resin that breathes and responds to its environment. With proper care, a well-made amber piece will last generations. Without it, the stone can become dull, brittle or cloudy.
